Sabiha's first Learn About Agriculture

Hi! We are Sabiha and Darien and we are kids. We won a grant through Katie's Krops to make a garden to grow fruits and vegetables to feed hungry people. We got chosen because we had lots of experience gardening and we volunteered at the local Farmer's Market. Darien started when he was 6 years old, and he always had indoor gardening in his apartment. Sabiha started gardening when she was 5 years old, watering the plants in her mom's garden.
We started our gardening project in our current plot in March. Our garden is part of the larger community garden. We went to Home Depot and bought greenhouse supplies, such as PVC pipes, to build a hoop house so that our crops wouldn't be too cold and so that we could grow crops in the winter.
